BRING IT OUTSIDE!

Born blind by birth. With 23 studio albums, 3 soundtrack albums, 11 compilations, one box set and 91 singles. He went on to win numerous Grammy awards, uncountable state honors and touched millions of lives with his music. Releasing his first album at age 12. He is now considered a pioneer of R&B music. Steveland Hardaway Morrison popularly known as "STEVIE WONDER" has truly been an inspiration to persons with disability and the entire world since childhood with his unique music talent.

Let us all remind ourselves once again of the simple truth that we are totally different from whoever we are seeing around us. UNIQUE is the right word to use. But is our "unique" talent enough? is our "unique" skills all that matters? Our smart brains all there is to be? Or there is a responsibility to it perhaps the reason your maker made it unique to you only? We were all born into this world BUT to a family. So maybe, Yes!, there is a responsibility attached to our uniqueness. Stevie Wonder's was his music talent.......same as Michael Jackson. We can also mention the Wright brothers(inventors of the airplane) and Henry Ford(Ford cars).

If we believe we were all born unique, then what has made these names so historic and highly celebrated?

Could it be the families they were born into? We could argue this because there are historic names out there who came from weak and not so well families....So the answer for that is NO!. How about the part of the world they came from? Obviously a NO! because we have had historic people from all parts of the globe even Africa. So a NO! So what then could the answer be?

Have you considered the fact that they are historic because they impacted the world with their version of uniqueness. They recognized their own version of uniqueness and set out to make the world a better place for all with it, not just themselves. We are all born with natural gifts and some of us also learnt certain skills and we are so good at it now. Some of us have been through certain life situations that is just different from everybody's. It all counts. If we all have unique gifts and we also know in the next 100years we will be no more inhabitants of this earth. Then we will all agree that making an impact in the world with our version of uniqueness is not just a responsibility but a mark for the lives we are living on earth. And this impact should start with keeping your loved ones even closer and closer.
